Personal Bio
|
Dr. Davis is Director, Cardiovascular Surgery at the Edward Heart Hospital.
Born and raised in New York City, he
completed his final years of high school and then received his
university and medical degree at the Hebrew University/Hadassah in Jerusalem, Israel. He did his
residency in general surgery and cardiothoracic and vascular surgery at
the Mayo Clinic, with additional fellowships at the Hektoen
Institute for Congenital Heart Disease (Chicago), John Hopkins (Maryland)
and France. While performing all aspects of adult cardiac, thoracic and
vascular surgery, Dr. Davis' particular interest is valvular
disease, especially mitral valve repair, TMR(laser revascularization) and innovative heart
technologies. He enjoys riding horses, piloting, and hiking treks in
remote locations.
